Presently, HDMI is one of the top recognized standards for connecting component in a setup like a home theater. This setup includes TV, Video projectors, Wireless HDMI extenders and receivers, cable/satellite boxes, disc players etc. The primary purpose of HDMI is to make connecting these all components either by using a cable or wireless devices. Using cable is one of the most preferred and widely used methods. However, many people choose a wireless method for their 2x2 video wall controllers to avoid the hassle of handling cables.

The ability of HDMI to recognize and communicate with other devices is called the HDMI handshake. In case the handshake does not work correctly then HDMI signals is not understood correctly.
