Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences to the victims who died after a massive engulfed a private art coaching centre.
At least 19 students, including 16 girls, died and several got injured after a massive fire broke out into the private art coaching centre, on third floor of a commercial complex in Sarthana area of Surat city.
“Extremely anguished by the fire tragedy in Surat.
I have asked the Government of Gujrat and local authorities to provide all possible assistance to those affected,” PM Narendra Modi tweeted.

Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani said he had instructed officials to do the needful after the incident, which has claimed 15 lives so far.
