The price of Chicken Plummeted, 700 Broiler Breeders Rallies in the Ministry of agriculture

The action demanded the government to stabilize the price of live chicken (live bird) at the farmer level, which is now steadily declining.

"Lowering prices is causing people's poultry farmers self become a victim and suffered great losses," said a Representative of the Association Members of the Poultry Rakyat Indonesia (Pins) Parjuni in a press release, Thursday (26/9).

At least, they hope the price is above the cost of Production (HPP) people's poultry farmers self-sufficient, according to Minister of Trade Regulation No. 96 of the Year 2018.

The price had improved after the breeders do a demonstration.

But the repair price only lasted for a week.

Based on the HPP at the farmer level, the price of chicken meat was ranged from Rp 18-20 thousand per kg.
