The TRC - The government plans a consultation with a professor from the United States related to the discourse of the establishment of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC).
Such experts will advise whether the formation of the TRC proper in resolving cases of Human Rights violations (human RIGHTS) of the past.
Presidential chief of Staff Moeldoko said, the government want to get the right formula in the formation of the TRC.
Because, the legal existence of this commission was cancelled by the Constitutional Court (MK) in 2006.
Coordinating minister for Political, Legal and Security (Polhukam) Mahfud MD said, this particular team contains some of the experts.
In addition, the Agency will invite the families of the victims of human RIGHTS violations and the non-governmental organizations (NGOS) to be asked for input related to the draft law of the TRC.
