There are some eligibility criteria for the India tourist visa. The applicant must know the eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill out the online Indian visa application.
- The passport must have six-month validity from the date of arrival.
- Passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by immigration officer once you arrive in India.
- As a tourist, you must have sufficient money to spend as well as the return ticket.
- The tourist must have an onward journey ticket during the stay in India.
- International Pakistani origin travelers or having Pakistani Passport need to apply for the regular visa at Indian Mission.
- Indian e-visa is not available to Diplomatic / Official Passport Holders. Lastly, children also need a valid e-Visa to travel to India and need to apply with a fresh form and fill it out with all respect (each individual should have a separate passport).
The following documents required for India tourist visa.
- The applicant must upload a clear colored scanned copy of the Passport in PDF, JPG or PNG (not more than 3MB size).
- A colored passport-sized recent photograph of the applicant not more than 3MB size (background white for clarity of image).
- The background should be white for clarity of the image.
