One of the most glorious conversations to have ever transpired in human history was the one between God and Prophet Moses. A lengthy account involving Moses PBUH (Musa) Firaun and the Bani Israel has featured in several chapters of the Noble Quran. This extraordinary event, nonetheless, sticks out as the most poignant occurrence in the honorable Prophet’s life that ushers in his prophetic mission. This shall be a humble endeavor to derive impactful lessons from the blessed dialogue depicted in Surah Taha.
“Has the story of Moses come to you? He saw a fire and said to his family, ‘Stay here—I can see a fire. Maybe I can bring you alight from it or find some guidance there.’ When he came to the fire, he was summoned, ‘Moses! I am your Lord. Take off your shoes: you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. I have chosen you, so listen to what is being revealed. I am God; there is no god but Me. So worship Me and keep up the prayer so that you remember Me. The Hour is coming—though I choose to keep it hidden—for each soul to be rewarded for its labor. Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his desires distract you from it, and so bring you to ruin.’” (Quran 20:9-16)
As with the stories of other prophets, the story of Musa is crucial for our Islamic knowledge. The Quran not only focuses on Moses and his reign of prophethood, but several associated topics are touched upon.
The Bani Israel (Children of Israel) are discussed in detail.
The ruler of the time, the pharaoh (firawn) and his obstinance in terms of disobeying Allah is focused on.
Allah will certainly return Musa to her and make him a messenger.Hence, Musa’s mother had faith in Allah and put the baby in a wooden basket, casting it into the river.
Some men were watering their flock, with two women standing nearby, refraining from going near the men.
Upon Musa’s query, they informed him that they had to wait for the men to finish before they could water their flock.
If a person is given a chance to examine the biography of Prophet Muhammad comprehensively from all aspects, while breaking free from the fetters of personal bias, he will definitely conclude that such a great man cannot be but a Prophet who received revelation and a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds.https://www.egypttales.com/2021/10/islam-prophets-biography-proves.html
Sacrifice means proximity, closeness, goodness, closeness, closeness.
Ever since the creation of the earth, the law of sacrifice has been in vogue.
Although the practice of sacrifice began in the era of Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), the Muslim Ummah sacrifice was essentially a sacrifice of Prophet Ismail Alaihi Salam in the test of Allah's satisfaction.
When the Prophet Isma'il (peace be upon him) reached the age of movement; Then Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was ordered to sacrifice his beloved child in the dream of sacrifice in the road of Allah.
Then Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) said to son Isma'il, "My son, I dreamed that I was slaughtering you.
"By the will of Allah, you will find me among the patient."
