Oppo Enco X – A True Wireless Earphones with Active Noise

Oppo earphones have quickly made their way in the tech market, thanks to their quality sound. The brand releases its wireless headphones under Enco series and has introduced several models. Oppo Enco X is the latest pair of earphones that hit the market in October 2020. This is a quality product from design to material use and performance. The under £200 price tag make it more lucrative for those who are on a tight budget leash.

The Oppo Enco X has a dual-core chipset which commands the ANC and curbs the noise. But the noise-cancelling feature is not its only highlight, as there is much more to look. We have reviewed the Enco X earphones in detail to cover its strengths and weaknesses.

Key Features

  • Wireless Range: 10m
  • Bluetooth: 5.2
  • Driver: 8mm Dynamic
  • Battery: 40mAh + 400mAh (with case)
  • Charging Port: USB Type-C
  • Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation

The Enco X displays a deep technical proclivity that Oppo has in the audio division. The brand has worked around the innovation without making compromises over performance.

Oppo Enco X – Design & Build

The Enco X follows the same old design that Oppo used for its previous generation earphones. However, the brand has improved a few corners to make it more prominent. The earphones highlight a streamlined curvature design which blends well with its metallic circular frame.

The Oppo Enco X earphones have an elegant appeal and come with short handles. The rounded cavity and in-ear design add style without making it too bold or dull. On the outside surface, there is a unique diaphragm on the handle. It contains a smart light with shadow effect.

The star-ring metal frame weighs around 52.5g and you will not even feel that it is there. Oppo has designed the charging box’s arc in such a way that it fits perfectly in palms.

Features of Enco X

We have used Oppo’s renowned PM-1 headphone in the past and the Enco X offers almost the same audio experience. The audio is crispy, clear and you will feel the sound echoing with the beats. Oppo has used the DBEE 3.0 sound system which works splendidly well.

It features 8mm Dynamic driver and 5.2 Bluetooth that cover almost 10m. The earphones pack 40mAh battery with 400mAh case storage, which means you will have 25 hours of joyful sound. The charging case supports reverse charging so you can continue listening to music without any disruptions.

Oppo Enco X: Performance Review

We tested its performance by playing Billie Eilish’s playlist and received resonated bass audio with refined sound. The controls of Enco X impressed us the most as we did not feel stuck.

You can slide your finger up or down any side of the ear to turn the volume up or low. By double-tapping the Oppo Enco X, you can answer or end a call and skip the songs. In case you are in a noisy environment, press it for 1s and you can stimulate the noise cancellation mode.

Final Note

Oppo Enco X earphones are intuitive that blends the innovation with quality sound. These wireless earbuds are ideal for Android smartphone users who need economical earphones. Noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C port, and reverse charging are its highlight features. You can pair it with Oppo mobiles or any other phone and enjoy the enhanced latency.
