A string of worries or regrets may happen while your thoughts are racing.  For most people the past issues generate sadness, anger, resentment and inadequacy and the future causes fear, anxiety and worry.

It can be seriously disturbing and frightening because it creates a sense of being out of control. You’re out of control but is does not mean you are crazy. It simply means that you are anxious and your stress level is higher than usual while having racing thoughts.
