The Prominence of Conducting Skill Development Programs for the Poor in India

Technological improvement has made the world a global village. During these unprecedented times, getting a job is difficult for the Indian youth irrespective of the social status. The current education system is not focusing on training the students based on employable skills. Skill development is mandatory to sustain for a long-time in the market to get adequate employment opportunities for India's growing youth,

The poor people don't have money to spend on vocational training or skill development programs to get a job; hence they need to compromise for the under-paying jobs due to inadequate skills. The level of low-quality skills makes the youth settle down in society by keeping extra physical efforts. There is no other option for these people to fulfill the basic needs. Instead of working hard, the income may not be entirely sufficient for their livelihood, and often they lose the pay when they don't work.

The Need for ISFH Skill Development Program

To break this curse in the lives of deprived and underprivileged people, ISFH Foundation is determined to offer "Free of Cost" skill development training for poor people. The program is specially designed for upskilling the needy and downtrodden people. The programs cover technical and non-technical backgrounds such as Spoken English, Advanced DCA/ Tally, and Personality Development Courses. Alongside, ISFH is planning to conduct technical and non-technical skills for the deprived youth like Drone Training, Arts Crafts, BPO Trainer, Sewing Machine Expert, and a few more. The drone training course requires a lot more funding, and the ones who got trained in the drone pilot course can earn a dignified job for a lifetime. But it takes a lot of dedication, effort, and time to give free training for the certified courses. ISFH Foundation has an absolute commitment to offer this skill development program for the underprivileged youth throughout India.

When there are no jobs or less income, we can see an imbalance in society's economy. People's well-being will be affected due to the reduced or absence of unemployment that leads to an inability to afford essential goods & services needed for survival. Poverty has multiple dimensions, and unemployment is one of the forms of poverty. Poverty alleviation happens with the eradication or reduction of poverty levels in society. The skill training program of ISFH Foundation helps generate wealth through multiple programs to earn a qualified job or become self-employed. ISFH has the dream to make the underprivileged people self-dependent through financial independence. We can solve the mismatch between the lack of adequate skills and experience to succeed in a new business by providing young people with the needful entrepreneurial skills.

The Relation between Poverty & Unemployment

Poverty is almost equivalent to low income, and it comprises multiple things like no voice in the society to determine what's going on in their deprived livelihood. Food insecurity is also a form of poverty, and skill development programs help increase the underprivileged people's social and economic status. Skill development is the best program to uplift the poor's standards, and it is good for the public well-being. The rural areas have less access to training and education. They are equipped with low-quality resources to obtain productive skills. The ISFH Foundation's skill development programs are designed by considering the poor youth's employment opportunities only.

The alignment, design, and schedule of the skill development programs can increase the underprivileged youth's employability. In any nation, the mismatch between the demand and supply leads to the low living status of the below poverty line youth group, resulting in lower wages. ISFH Foundation has designed multiple missions throughout the nation and expanded the services to the regional level to promote education, health, income inequality, hunger, poverty, and unemployment for the underprivileged people. ISFH will conduct door-to-door services to estimate the deprived youth unemployment. Based on the research, the relevant skill development programs are allotted in the nearest training institute for the diadavanted group of youth to provide a better life.

Highlights of ISFH Unemployment Mission

The skill development helps increase the workers' competitiveness and productivity, which benefits both the companies and the people. Also, a vast number of needy children are not getting enough for their livelihood and education. As children are our nation's future, this deprivation will drag them to poverty, illiteracy, and insufficient nutrition. The primary aim of the ISFH skill development program is to provide quality jobs for the underprivileged. Skills are essential to improve the employment outcomes of the people. ISFH is a non-profit that runs free skill development programs in India in multiple locations.

Quality education is the foremost concern to obtain success in this competitive era, and everyone knows this statement. The income generation possibilities are not enough to empower the whole income inequality in the nation. Our responsibility is to help the below poverty line succeed in their efforts to lead a quality life. Skill development for the poor can be the greatest weapon to address the challenges and open new opportunities for survival in these volatile economies during globalization.

It is not easy for ISFH to execute the strategies without public help; hence we encourage everyone for the sake of humanity to help India's vulnerable youth to get a promising career and earn a good income.
