Delhi High Court asks CBSE to clarify stand on results of Class X private candidates

The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) on a petition filed by a girl enrolled as a private candidate for the CBSE Class X examination and asked the Board to clarify its stand regarding results of private students.

Justice Prateek Jalan asked the counsel appearing for CBSE to reply, “What is that separate scheme for students who are enrolled in the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), and when are you announcing that?”

The petition, filed by advocate Payal Bahal for her daughter Mehak, sought a clarification on the policy of the government declaring the privately enrolled SSCE students as pass.
