Customized Templates VS Simple eBay listing Templates Description

eBay listing description or item description on ebay is it has to be fancy like the pictures flashing around text going from left to right or the simpler one is better in this article. ebay template i will tell you what i use for my listings on ebay and i will give you five reason why i do that so let's get started when i started listing the item on ebay i was using html format because i was trying to make my listing look more professional and yes they look better they look professional.so i did that i had a template i was using that templates to add the picture but by passing of time when i realized if i have to list many items it is taking a lot of time for me to add the pictures and stuff like this and there was many other reason i stopped using it and now i use the simple text based format but in this video i will tell you five major reason why did i stop it so.

Number One
==========
Nobody look at them i mean when i say nobody i have gained this experience by selling on a platform for many years buyer will buy the item by just looking at your title and pictures so ninety percent of the people who will just look they will just look at the title and they will just look at the pictures ten percent of the people only go down to description but adding the picture in the right place and doing all those fancy things take a lot of time where you see nobody actually look at them so what's the point.

Number Two
===========
They are not user friendly if you have to buy the good one which are responsive then you have to pay money for them you have to have some sort of software nowadays buyers have many different devices some of them probably have a tablet some of them probably have a mobile some of them have a computer screen the screen have a many different size the cut hole for the camera is in the middle probably on the side some have a motorized camera there are many different screen ratios nowadays it's simply not possible to have the template which is a user friendly for each and every device.

Number Three
===========
The simply slow so if you have a pictures inside your description in ebay listing templates and you have a lot going on inside the description if the buyer have high speed internet of course it will get loaded quicker but if they have a slow speed internet then whenever they click on the description it will stuck and they will just bounce back and go to a different listing so you will losing a sale in this they take time to load so that's why keeping it simple is the best way.

Number Four
==========
It's the big one ebay is getting rid of it if you're a salon now and if you go to your ebay messages or ebay notification that you normally get if you look inside your seller central ebay is asking you all the time to add more item specifications they want the information from item specification section for algorithm to decide which item to show to the buyer and where to put it and how the relevant this item is going to be with the buyer search so they are focusing more on specification which does make sense so they are trying to get rid of description they might not just get rid of it as a whole but probably the number of the words that you can use inside the description gonna be very very limited and which is the case on many other platforms it's just not the case on ebay nowadays but ebay is changing the things so there is no point if you are listing now to have a templates which you have to get rid of them in future just to be compatible with ebay.

Number Fifth
==========
Yes there are the time then you have to edit each and every listing description so for example when it comes to christmas it take a lot of time for the post to get delivered so it makes sense to write in a description that due to due to the christmas the post might get delayed and that's what i do near the busy times and dry and busy days if i need to add all the text any from using some sort of template with the template i have to have a software which cost money and most of them you have to pay them on the monthly basis and again they are not responsive they are slow why not just use the simple bulk editor inside the ebay to add the text and then remove it just in one click if you're using template they are not going to be supported by bulk editing but once you are using the simple text you can easily do that at any time you can make your own decision what you want to do and how much budget you have and how much risk you are willing to take and do accordingly if you like this video remember to check other videos as well my name is zansha and on this channel we talk about how to make money online.
