Click the Buy Now button on the Webroot Antivirus. If you need to activate the product across multiple devices, you can purchase multiple licenses. The product key for Webroot CDs or DVDs is printed on the card or sticker included in the package.
To prevent your subscription from automatically renewing when the license expires, clear the Yes, It Will Automatically Renewal the Subscription check box, and then click to confirm.
Complete the purchase by clicking "Proceed To Secure Payment". Webroot will send you the product key via email. You might have the email in your spam folder.
Webroot Antivirus trial edition - Download the 30-day free trial (link in Resources), or from your Webroot Account and install the product. Install the software on a CD or DVD if you bought the product in a local shop.
Next, start Webroot Antivirus. In the Subscription Status section click Update or Activate. Enter the product key into the text box by clicking the "I have an answer or I'll enter one" link. Look for the product key if you bought the product online. The product key could be found on a sticker, card or in the box if you bought the product at a retail shop. Log in to access your account
On the Device Security page identify the device you don't want to protect.
A license that is associated with an inactive device (red or gray) cannot be removed. Before you can remove support for this device, you must first repair it. You can delete the device from your account if you are unable to fix the problem.
To view all your inactive devices, click on the View History link located at the bottom. You might still not see your device if you have a different subscription or product key.
Click on the Advanced Options icon below the device and then click License Management in the menu.
Select Remove License from the License Management page and then click Yes to confirm.
The license must be removed from the device.
Click Install Now to install protection on your new device.
