The Best Honda Snow Blower Repair

You must love Honda power kits for their reliability, easy starting, low maintenance, and longevity. I have been a loyal owner of Honda power equipment for 30 years and will continue to buy Honda products until the day I am no longer able to use them. One of my favorite machines is Honda's track drive snow blower, honda snowblower repair model # HS928. This snow plow is a beast. I see my neighbors struggling with large amounts of snow every winter in the Northeast, and with this machine I can rescue them. While your Ariens and department store snow blowers are having a hard time blowing snow over the mountainous snow banks, I am sending my snow 30 'into the air, totally clearing the snow bank. The only problem this machine caused me was that I had to clear my neighbor's driveway because I accidentally blew all the snow into his driveway!

This Honda snow blower is a two stage snow blower. When you drive a bit, you know you have a lot of power in your hands. It almost sounds like a wood chipper, and when the snow starts flying, you'll know what I mean!

Hydrostatic Transmission:Honda Snowblower Repair

The Honda Track Drive Snow Blower has a hydrostatic transmission; You don't have to stop and change gears, just push and pull the lever to change direction. Track drive is another unique feature. Craftsman tried to copy the idea, but the Craftsman machine doesn't even compare to the Honda snow blower. I have many different levels in my yard and having the track unit allows me to climb stairs with ease. No wheeled snow plow can do that! Thanks to track riding, in the places where I used to have to shovel, honda snowblower problems  I can now use my snow thrower.

Honda Power Equipment:Honda Snowblower Repair

For whatever reason, Honda has nailed the art of easy-start gasoline engines. Every Honda gas-powered tool or machine I own gets started extremely easily. My mother is in her 70s and still runs the Honda snow thrower at home. My son started using my Honda snow blower at age 11 and was able to start it himself with no problem. There is something to be said about being able to see your child through the window, in the warmth of your home, as he blows the snow for you; all you need to do is prepare the hot chocolate.

Honda Snow Blowers Require Little Maintenance

The only maintenance I do on my arsenal of Honda electrical equipment is changing the oil, checking the sparkplugs, lubricating the greasers, and cleaning or replacing the air filter. That's it! I've had my Honda track-drive snow blower since 1994 and it still runs strong; I've never had to take it to the dealer for a major problem.

The Track Drive is Unstoppable:Honda Snowblower Repair

The tracks on this monster have large studs molded into the tracks; This makes it easy to climb any set of stairs, even wood. When other snowplows have to cut a path through the snow, the Honda Track-Drive Snowplow can climb over the snow like a snowmobile, so if you don't want to waste time cutting a path, just step up to the part. top of the snow and voila. I really appreciate this option because when I'm clearing a path for the tanker, I start from the middle of the yard and head out onto the street. I have a large hill in the front yard so I can start at the top of the hill and work my way to the street. This allows me to tackle the snowbank from the back rather than starting on the street.

The video is a bit finished, but it gives you a good idea of how easy the Honda snow thrower starts and how easy it is to climb stairs. I was using new video editing software so I got a little carried away.

Honda Power Kit Lasts Forever

If you've ever considered buying a Honda track-drive snow blower but didn't know if it was right for you, I'd recommend at least checking it out at the store. I have the first one from 1994 and it's still working, it's rusting a bit, but you can't expect it to last forever without a little body work and a little paint. If you are looking for a used one, I would not hesitate; Honda is an amazing product. Most problems are caused by neglect and abuse on the part of the owner, such as leaving the machine idling for years without changing the fuel or checking the oil.
