Mangalsutra

Mangalsutra is something that doesn’t get its due recognition. And you’re probably like yeah isn’t it a thing for married women. It is a symbol of love and a commitment worth a lifetime but what’s so special about it, right?

What is mangalsutra?

The notion of MangalsutraMangasultra is assumed to have originated in South India, where it is popular with the name of thali or thaaly or mangalyaam. A yellow thread is coated with turmeric paste and worn around the bride’s neck with three knots. This accessory is tied around the bride’s neck by the groom on the day of their holy nuptial as a promise of commitment from the groom.

Traditionally, this accessory is assumed to be tied in three knots and each of them has a certain relevance from the perspective of marriage. The first knot represents loyalty to the husband so that you can be a partner in crimes together. The second knot depicts commitment to the husband’s family. This way you can give your spouse a taste of their own medicine when he disagrees with the ‘’queen’’(DUH!!) and you can complain about them and get them on your side.

More women don’t seem to be fond of Mangalsultra, for some reasons, which is disappointing. Thanks to age-old Bollywood movies and Hindi soap operas, we all have developed some sort of dislike for Mangalsutras due to their heavy dialogues.

But hey, what if we told you that you don’t have to go so hard on them. Designer Mangalsutra is the hero to save the day. Appealing, stylish, and customizable, these accessories not only convey love but also help you ace the style game.

Designer mangalsutra is the new talk of the town. Providing women with the freedom to embrace their true style, designer modern mangalsutra has proved itself to be a shift from the conventional pattern.
