Why Postpartum Sculpting Girdles Are Better

Some women are like me - they don't like the idea of looking lumpy and wrinkled for months after childbirth. It's not liked your body gets back into shape quickly after giving birth - unless you have some fantastic genes. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication.

Some women may need six months to a year to feel better about their bodies after giving birth. The destruction took nine months, so you can expect it to take a while.

I wore my wrap quite often and never noticed my tummy shrink quickly after pregnancy. And I had other friends who didn't wear a tank top or flat stomach girdle after giving birth and were fabulous within a month of having a baby. I think it's mostly down to genetics and how hard you work to get your body back - there is no magic shortcut.

But besides vanity, there are many other reasons that women submit to postpartum belts and wraps.

SHEATH FLAT STOMACH AFTER CHILDBIRTH

Childbirth is difficult for the stomach muscles. Whether you have a natural birth or a Caesarean section, your stomach will pay the price.

Your muscles will be affected for weeks or even months, and it can really help you have that extra abdominal support that a postpartum girdle gives you. With a cesarean in particular, your recovery can be even more difficult because you also need to have an operation. Wraps or sleeves can help with the pressure and pain you will feel with your surgical wound.
