Management technology of sweet orange in flowering and fruiting stage

New technologies for sweet orange flower and fruit management are as follows:

1. Trim carefully. Cut off the damaged dry and dead branches and leaves as soon as possible to reduce the water transpiration of the tree and prevent the continued dead branches. 5. Erase the late autumn shoots. It is beneficial to fruit sugar accumulation, improve quality and reduce pest damage.

6. Young trees promote flowers. Before and after the middle of August, the young trees with a crown diameter of more than 1.0m shall be pulled and reshaped. The shaping is mainly natural open center shape. The pulling angle shall be 45-60 degrees with the main rod. The angle shall not be too large. It is strictly prohibited to pull into sagging branches.

7. Strengthen nitrogen control and quality assurance in the later stage of fruit. The fruit quality of sweet orange has the greatest influence on tree potential in the later stage. With more nitrogen and vigorous trees, most photosynthetic products are transformed into growth function, while the fruits are coarse skinned, large fruit, green skin, color difference, low fruit juice content, less soluble sugar and poor quality vertical rack system.

The adjustment measures are to control the amount of nitrogen application first, followed by topdressing, early application, auxiliary ring cutting measures, and apply "promoting huawang 2", which is beneficial to control the tree potential, so as to promote coloring, increase sugar and reduce acid, mature in time and improve the fruit quality.

8. Pre harvest fruit drop and pest control

Pre harvest fruit drop of sweet orange is often accompanied by insect injury, brown rot and infection of Penicillium and chloromycetes, and navel orange is also accompanied by fruit cracking. Therefore, in order to prevent pre harvest fruit drop, fungicide plus "Gaoxin lipid film" should be sprayed in combination with disease control, and diseases and pests should be manually picked up and destroyed, so as to reduce the source of re infection in the orchard.
