Nestled in the Maikal range of Satpuras, the Kanha national park is located in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh. Tourists can take a flight to reach the national park as Jabalpur airport is the nearest airport located near the park. It is situated at a distance of 170kms away from the park. Tourists can take a train to reach the national park. The nearest railway station is the Gondia railway station, which is located at a distance of 145kms. Summer season- the summer season falls from April to June. Although the state experiences extreme temperatures of about 45 degrees, it is the best time to spot some royal Bengal tigers.
