Raghavendra Auradkar retired from service as a Director General of Police, Chairman and Managing Director for the state of Karnataka. Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited on January 31st 2020.

He had a professional service of 32 years as SP, DIGP and Commissioner of Police for Bengaluru, Hubli and Dharwad Cities. He is well experienced in handling law and order, Armed Police Administration, Investigation, and Recruitment. President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the eve of Independence Day in August 15th 2003. President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service on Republic Day in 2012. Chosen as a Chief for STAMPIT established by Government of Karnataka to examine multi crore fake stamp paper rackets. He was appointed in a 3-members panel by Minister of Finance to advise improvement in functioning of India Security press printing, distribution and computerization of stamp papers.
