What is a CRM? Why do we need CRM?

Customer relationship management is a technology which helps companies to communicate with past, existent, and future or potential customers. CRM helps companies to improve this relationship and with that it helps to grow their business. 


Just remember, a decade ago many of us had offices full of paper estimates, which needed to be sent to the customer. When the customer approved the estimate, then we needed to write another paper invoice, and then send it to the customer. Needless, to say, this process was long, we used a bunch of paper invoices that could easily be lost in the process. Also, it was hard to keep track of the past jobs that you did for the same customer. 


And now imagine that there is a CRM technology that helps you enter a customer into the system, while you are on the phone with him, schedule him, then email him the estimate, which you can quickly convert to the invoice, and, lastly, accept the payment right away. One-stop-shop, which is easy, smooth, and quick. How awesome is that. 


And there is more! Now when everything is in the system, we can easily track what services this customer used in the past, his personal information, and common behavioral patterns. Knowing that, we can send reminders, thank you letters, and marketing information about new services that you provide.   


So, just to sum-up why do we need a Field Service CRM: this system is easy to use for anyone, it helps tremendously to communicate with your customer, it brings accuracy and speed, and, most importantly, it helps to manage and grow your business!
