Two Diverse Locations to Try Out in Sydney

Sydney is one of Australia’s most populous as well as largest cities and is the luxury capital of New South Wales. With over numerous beaches, lush vegetation, parks, art museums, huge skyscrapers, party cruises and restaurants, the city is brimming with diversity. This sun-soaked city is also one of the most visited destinations in the world with millions of tourists and travellers from around the world flocking to the city every year. There are so many fun things to do here and if you want to fully experience it, stay at least for a week. Choosing a suitable place if you're running low on time can be a bit challenging so here are two options to enjoy the diversity of Sydney.

 Sydney Harbour, Sydney

The harbour is the first place to visit when you're in Sydney for the first time. The whole city is built on this incredible harbour and it has its fair share of events and activities to keep you entertained. Apart from the diverse shops, restaurants and long fleet of harbour cruises, the harbour is also home to many entertainment venues, museums, and exhibitions. When the lights of the city start to ignite at night, the precinct buzzes with action. Hop on a dinner cruise in Sydney Harbour and watch Sydney’s beauty at night from the best angles. It's one of the easiest ways to see the attractions of the harbour. You can see various vessels in the harbour including the premium glass boat with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that offers 360°views of the harbour, an authentic paddlewheeler with wrap-around verandahs and a multi-million dollar catamaran with spacious outer viewing decks. All of them come with different amenities, so select your vessel according to your desires. If you're looking for entertainment while cruising, pick a cruise with an onboard live show. Each of the cruises will take you around the harbour and let you see the splendid sights of the harbour and its famous attractions including the lit-up Opera House, Harbour Bridge and many more. They come with sumptuous dinner menus (signature menu, buffet, seated and served- depending on the cruise) which are prepared freshly by the onboard chefs. Enjoy them at the vast dining saloons with your favourite group and enjoy a restaurant style dining experience. You can also opt to purchase a beverage package to fully indulge in the experience. A harbour cruise with dinner, splendid views of the harbour, numerous amenities and a positive service is the ultimate form of leisure to take up at Sydney during night.

Fred Hollows Reserve, Randwick

Named after the legendary Fred Hollows, the Fred Hollows Reserve is a unique government-administered gully located right in the heart of Randwick. It is a two hectare square park that has various boardwalks and a footbridge spanning across the creek which allows the visitors to experience the lush vegetation that exists here. You can also see a few benches and viewing points along the walking trail, where you can enjoy the splendid and peaceful scenery of this reserve. The park houses several varieties of birds, frogs and lizards so you're very likely to be accompanied by some of these slithering friends. Appreciate different perspectives of the vegetation and enjoy its tranquility as the boardwalk transitions between canopy, gully floor and mid-storey. You can access this park at two points from Bligh Place to the north or Alison Rd to the south of Randwick. Unfortunately, the natural rise and fall of the gully has made this reserve a non-wheelchair and pram accessible area.
