The working principle and function of infrared sensor

The infrared sensor is an automatic control product based on infrared technology. When someone enters the sensing range, the special sensor detects the change of the infrared spectrum of the human body and automatically turns on the load. If the person does not leave the sensing range, it will continue to connect; automatically shuts down the load. The light is on when people arrive, and the light is off when people leave, which is friendly and convenient, safe and energy-saving, and shows humanized care. In the fields of medicine, military science and environmental engineering, infrared sensors are widely used.

Introduction

The infrared sensor is developed according to the principle of infrared reflection, and belongs to an intelligent water-saving and energy-saving equipment. Including sensor faucet, automatic hand dryer, medical hand wash, automatic soap dispenser, sensor urinal flusher, sensor toilet.

This is the standard name, also known as thermal infrared human body sensor.

Principle

This is based on the principle of infrared reflection. When the human hand or a certain part of the body is in the infrared region, the infrared light emitted by the infrared transmitting tube is reflected to the infrared receiving tube due to the blocking of the human hand or body, and processed by the microcomputer in the integrated circuit. The signal is sent to the pulse solenoid valve. After the solenoid valve receives the signal, it opens the spool according to the specified command to control the water from the head; when the human hand or body leaves the infrared sensing range, the solenoid valve does not receive the signal, and the solenoid valve spool passes through the internal spring. Perform a reset to control the water shutoff.

The basic components of infrared system and their functions

1. Target to be measured: Set the infrared system according to its infrared radiation characteristics;

2. Atmospheric attenuation: When the infrared radiation of the object to be measured passes through the atmosphere, it will be affected by a variety of substances and attenuate;

3. Optical receiver: used to receive part of the infrared radiation and transmit it to the infrared sensor;

4. Radiation modulator: also known as modulation disc or chopper, it is used to modulate infrared radiation in an alternating form to provide orientation information of the object to be measured and filter out interference signals;

5. Infrared detector: It is the core of the infrared system and is used to detect infrared radiation;

6. Detector cooler: used to cool the system to improve work efficiency;

7. Signal processing system: Amplify and filter the signal to extract the required information and deliver the effective information to the display device;

8. Display equipment: It is the terminal equipment of the infrared system, which is used for the display of effective information.

Functions

Infrared sensors actually have a lot of functions, although you may not hear them a lot. For example, in the cold winter, it can effectively prevent the water pipes from freezing, and the system automatically enters the intelligent control system in a digital way to quickly and accurately adjust the time delay. It only takes a few seconds to change the program parameters, and the intelligent fuzzy control achieves the advantages of the best flushing effect according to the number of users and the waiting time.
