Who Formed the Beatles?

The Beatles' discography is one of the most diverse in history, ranging from their signature anthem "She Loves You", to the more experimental "Revolution 9", a sound collage that features spoken word samples and tape loops. They are also responsible for some of the most critically acclaimed albums ever produced, including "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (1967), "The Abbey Road" (1969) and "Revolver" (1966).

 

The Beatles performed 172 concert tours in the United Kingdom, North America, Asia and Europe, playing over 2,400 musical concerts. Their final concert took place in Candlestick Park in San Francisco on 29 August 1966. The band still holds the record for most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with twenty-four entries.

 

Over 17 million people were fans of the Beatles, which makes them one of the best-selling bands in music history. The Beatles' influence on rock and pop music was enormous, as they invented a wide range of genres, including psychedelic rock, psychedelic pop and contemporary classical. They are credited with single-handedly expanding the boundaries of modern pop music.
