Setting up Your Computer Monitor

It can be extremely challenging to keep a good body posture while you are sitting in a chair, working at a computer all day. This can be made especially hard to accomplish of your monitor is set up incorrectly to provide you with ergonomic support. If you sustain bad posture for prolonged periods of time, this can result in things like hunching shoulder or slouching, rounded shoulders, or a forward head posture. These things can cause neck and upper back pain and other Mal posture complications.

To help prevent these very preventable conditions, you should make the following adjustments. -have a big monitor screen

-find a position for your monitor that is not too far away and not too close either. If either occur, this results in unintentional body compensation resulting in issues.

-make sure the size of the font you are reading is big enough that you can read it while maintaining good body posture

-make your screen brightness is not hurting your eyes and is comfortable to read

-make sure you don’t have screen glare from external light sources facing your screen.

-if you have prescription glasses, use them when you are working.
