गुरुचत्रिया अध्याय 14 मराठीत आहे. या अध्यायाने वर्णन केले की गुरु नृसिंह सरस्वती यांनी त्यांचे शिष्य सायंदेओ यांना भयानक स्थितीतून कशी मदत केली. सायंदेवला राजाने बोलावले होते. राजा खूप क्रूर आहे. जेव्हा जेव्हा राजा कोणत्याही व्यक्तीला हाक मारतो तेव्हा लोकांना माहित होते की ती व्यक्ती मारली जाईल. तसा सायंदेव त्याच्या मृत्यूला भेटणार होता. म्हणून त्याने आपले गुरु नृसिंह सरस्वती यांच्याशी संपर्क साधला आणि त्यांना विनंती केली की त्यांच्या कुटुंबाला आशीर्वाद द्या आणि त्यांच्या मृत्यूनंतरही त्यांच्या कुटुंबात गुरुभक्ती कायम राहील. त्याने गुरूला असेही सांगितले की तो (सायंदेव) त्याच्या मृत्यूला भेटणार आहे कारण त्याला राजाने बोलावले आहे. गुरु नृसिंह सरस्वतीने त्याला आश्वासन दिले की राजा त्याला मारणार नाही.
