Truck chefs

It's easy to see how each Truck was created by the people who work at them. Our little group of Food Trucks is a reflection of the growing Culinary scene. They are based on restaurants, catering businesses, and driven by local chefs. Food Trucks are a multi-faceted phenomenon that has been embraced by the nation's chefs and foodies. mobile pizza caterer

Andrew Zimmern's recent entry into the fray with his acclaimed AZ Canteen has raised awareness about the people behind each truck. As my own curiosity grew, I began to wonder who might be the next Mobile Adventure, or better, who I would WANT to...

With that in mind, I thought it would fun to list some of the Restaurants and Chefs that I'd love to work for in this area of Food service.

The Bulldog (NE, Lowertown)

Bulldog is still my favorite Food Bar in the City. They serve some of the most delicious kobe burgers, each one offering a wide variety of choices that are unique, creative and delectable. Tator tots and fries are consistently ranked in the Magazine Top 10 and feature some of my favorite flavors and fatty aioli dippings. NE's truffle tomatoes still haunt my dreams. You can't forget the hot dogs, Lowertown sometimes serves seasonal Game Meats every now and again.

These three main focuses can be combined with a club sandwich and some of their special beers in bottles to create a great burger-based menu. Their dessert menu is entirely cupcake-based. They might have to adjust their prices, as would all Trucks on this List.

Marcus Samuelson

Ethiopian-born and raised in Sweden, Chef Samuelson makes some of the best international food you can eat. One can only wonder what kinda of street food this individual could create with such a unique culinary background. You can be sure that he would be able to do it with his skills and experience.

The Devil's Advocate

I was hooked when I had my first lunch there last week. Devil's Advocate is a Craft Beer & Craft Meatball Emporium. They offer 40 seasonal beers, as in they get another beer when there are none left. There are also 4 meatballs and sauces. You can choose how many you would like and the packaging. We don't have any other meatball-focused Trucks aside from Saucy Burt. It would be great to visit a place where all you have to do is ask "What kind of meatball are you looking for?"
