

Production of the 992-generation Porsche 911 started in 2019, and now the range has expanded once more with the motorsport-derived GT3 RS. Racing DNA runs through every pore of the GT3 RS. It produces far more downforce at higher speeds than the GT3 and is equipped with a new drag reduction system, while the high-revving 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six engine now makes 518 horsepower. Starting at a lofty $223,800, the GT3 RS is nevertheless expected to conquer the Nurburgring more quickly than many more expensive cars. This is Porsche at the peak of its powers.

The price of the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS has risen by over $30,000 compared to the previous RS. The 2023 911 GT3 RS will now start at a sky-high MSRP of $223,800, excluding a $1,450 destination charge. Throw in a few options like the Weissach Package for a total of $38,250 (including a mandatory upholstery upgrade) and the price soon exceeds $250,000.
Rivals include the older Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series which was $325,000 when new. Some may also consider the Audi R8 Coupe that starts at a far cheaper $148,700.
