This Implant Residency Course is an introduction to the use of CBCT imaging for the design and fabrication of implant surgical guides. It focuses on the registration of models with CBCT scans, the creation of virtual implant work-ups using computer-aided design, and a step-by-step approach to surgical guide fabrication in-office.


Part 2: Surgical Mini-Residency Training

The Surgical Mini-Residency is a hands-on, real-world implant training program for individuals who have already completed their undergraduate education and are seeking additional hands-on experience in dental implants. This program enables participants to practice the placement of five Replace Select implants under direct supervision in one patient.


These Courses are designed to be taken in conjunction with other clinical and didactic experiences, which may include participation in dental school clinics, hospital-based implant programs, or specialized prosthodontic training centers. This course is an excellent complement to an existing implant residency program.

The Implant Residency Certificate is a two-year, non-degree program in which fellows are trained in the diagnosis, surgical placement, and treatment of patients with a range of dental implants Birmingham Al.
