Pastor 7 Atlanta founded 7 Bridges to Recovery, a non-profit organization that supports individuals struggling on the streets of Atlanta. The organization provides housing, food, and other accommodations to help women, children, men, and veterans rebuild their lives. Pastor 7 Atlanta is dedicated to eradicating homelessness in Atlanta and around the world. The ultimate goal is to help individuals escape the chains of addiction, abuse, and other forms of trauma. In Atlanta alone, there are nearly 21,000 homeless individuals, but only around 3,000 beds available to accommodate them. Unfortunately, shelters are regularly closing due to insufficient funding. In response to this urgent need, 7 Bridges to Recovery has a mission to provide people with the best facilities possible. Pastor 7 Atlanta and his team serve in several significant areas to address the critical issue of homelessness in Atlanta.
Serve People At The Garden Home
At the Garden Home, we serve our 125 residents three meals every day of the week. We trust in God to provide for us each day, as we have no set spending plan or menu and are uncertain where our next meal will come from. We welcome you to join us in serving the residents and building relationships through activities such as crafts, worship services, and contribution sorting. Additionally, you can assist by driving patients to doctor appointments or offering prayer and love to those in need.
Saturday Mission
Regardless of the weather conditions, every Saturday, we take to the streets of Atlanta with more than 700 meals, using them as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus. We gather together in a circle, say a prayer, distribute instructions for the day, and then divide into two teams to visit different locations in the city - the Bluff and under the bridges.
Our ministry van travels to several spots throughout the city, and volunteers follow it in a caravan of cars, ensuring we reach as many people as possible.
Serve The Homeless
Join us in serving the homeless every Monday evening as we gather beneath the bridges to provide food and share the love of Christ with those in need. We prepare saddlebags and backpacks filled with lunch bags to distribute to the hungry. Additionally, we welcome mission teams from around the world to join us in serving as Jesus' hands and feet to the least, last, and lost in our society.
Through this experience, visitors can learn to serve with humility and compassion without traveling far or spending a lot of money. 7 Bridges to Recovery is committed to providing food, clothing, and prayer to hundreds of people in need.
