Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C). The model was first introduced in 1928 by psychologist William Moulton Marston.  

The model was later developed by John Geier and Walter V. Clarke in the 1970s. The DiSC model is widely used in personal and professional development, team building, and communication training.  

The DiSC model categorizes individuals into four different styles based on their behavioral tendencies. The Dominance (D) style is characterized by a focus on results and a direct approach to communication. The Influence (I) style is characterized by a focus on relationships and a more expressive communication style. The Steadiness (S) style is characterized by a focus on collaboration and a more supportive communication style. The Conscientiousness (C) style is characterized by a focus on quality and a more analytical communication style.
