Alan Wake is finally getting a sequel after a decade of waiting

Months after releasing their big Alan Wake remake, Remedy Entertainment is back with an equally important announcement: the exemplary title will have a sequel and it will be released in 2023. According to Sam Lake, the creative director of Remedy, the band was really intent on making a sequel when it came to the main game – – and more than 10 years have passed since the title was delivered, this spinoff finally ready to work.

The first Alan Wake game shipped in 2010 as an active experience game with strong elements of endurance and horror. A remake of the game was released for PC, Xbox and PlayStation a few months ago after a long series of rumors and pauses about the arrangement.

The sequel, essentially called Alan Wake 2, was brought back to The Game Awards 2021 along with a trailer. Creative director Lake provided more information about the company on Sony's PlayStation Blog, where he explained that "a small central team" had spent years managing the collapse among larger businesses, "think of different expressions of ideas".

The latest idea has kept authorities on track, which Lake says is being developed under the codename "Big Fish Prediction". Why this codename? “We went deeper into recent memory than ever before, into a dark region,” Lake said of the sequel.

Alan Wake 2 will be a true fitness buff, unlike the main title, and while it could very well be played as a standalone game, it will also open up the wider universe that Remedy has. have set up since 2019. .a
