1. Storage
A lot of us don’t know how to store our sarees. Storing it the right way can make a lot of difference.

- Avoid placing it in card boxes, plastic, metal, etc., as they can interfere with the luster of the fabric.
- Silica gels or neem leaves can also be placed in the area where the sarees are kept. This prevents fungal growth in the storeroom.
2. Cleaning

- The best way is to get them dry cleaned by professionals, as they know how to handle them with care. If you get them washed at home, it is then preferred to use cold water with a small amount of shampoo. Avoid harsh detergents and soaps, as they can destroy the fabric.
