I do remember once when a new worker read a sight glass wrongly in his daily inspection. They had said that the tank was full, when it was a few centimeters short. This created unjustified venting processes and small production hitches. The takeaway? Readings should always be checked twice particularly in the first few weeks. It is a good habit to cross check with other gauges or instruments.
