Solution-1: Turn On AutoFill Feature on Edge

  2. Hit the three dots located at the head right side of the screen to open the ‘More’ options.
  3. Choose ‘Settings’ option and click on it.
  4. Under settings, tap on the ‘View Advanced Settings, option.
  5. After that, launch the ‘Privacy’ tab and search for the ‘Save from entries’ option.
  6. Toggle a slider to ‘Turn On’ the ‘Save from Entries’.
  7. Note: if in case, any user wants to manage each password itself, turn off the ‘Save from Entries’ option.
  8. Inside the ‘Offer to Save passwords’ tab, click on the ‘Manage my saved passwords’ option just to open it.
  9. And to exclude a specific password from saving it, then move the slider labelled as ‘Offer to save the password’ located at the left panel of the screen.
  10. Once completed, exit the Microsoft Edge and wait for few seconds and again reopen it.

Solution-2: Delete Cached Files and Data

To troubleshoot this issue tries to remove all the cache data and files. Here how to do it:

  1. Open the Microsoft Edge on your computer system.
  2. Tap on the three dots appears on the screen to launch ‘More’ option on the screen.
  3. Choose ‘Settings’ option.
  4. Search for the ‘Clear browsing data’ option.
  5. Now, pick ‘choose what to clear’.

Look for ‘Cached files and Data and then choose these options to clear it permanently.
