A Heart Wrenching Fire Tragedy at Anaj Mandi in Delhi Which Took 43 Innocent Lives

The Anaj Mandi blaze which had ended up the lives of 43 people is considered to be the second most severe fire in the national capital after the Uphaar Cinema disaster that declared 59 lives and left more than 100 injured.

Around 62 people were taken out by fire tenders from the building that caught fire in the early hours on Sunday and took seconds to give it a shape of a massive tragedy.

In the meantime, bodies of the departed soul have been moved to the mortuary.

This case got registered under section 304 of the Indian Penal Code against the owner.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also visited the fire broke location, grieved the entire tragedy and said though all the lives cannot be brought back but can help families with the compensation of Rs 10 lakhs to those who lost their lives in the tragic incident and Rs 1 lakh to those who got injured.

Manoj Tiwari, also visited the tragedy site and gave his condolences to the departed souls and also announced the compensation of Rs 5 lakhs to the families of each victim and Rs 25,000 for the treatment of injured people, on behalf of the BJP.
