Preliminary considerations for use:

Check that the work area is clean and clear, having only those tools necessary for the development of the work.
Respect the delimitation and signage relative to both the transit and storage areas.
Make use of all the PPE recommended for the position.
If high visibility work clothes are not available, always wear a reflective vest when
leaving the equipment control booth.
Wear work clothes with adjustable cuffs, do not wear loose hair, or pendants, bracelets or rings.
Hold on to the railings while going down the stairs.
Check that all the guards and protection devices are correctly placed, are in perfect condition and are working properly.
If it is necessary to carry out maintenance or revision work on the equipment at a
height of more than 2 meters , a fall arrest system will be used.
Never bypass devices or remove protection guards from the machine
Remain with the cabin door fully closed while working inside the cabin.
The electrical installation must be periodically reviewed by authorized personnel to ensure adequate levels of protection

against electrical contacts, both direct and indirect.
Make sure from the main command post that there are no people in dangerous areas.
It is advisable to know the noise emission levels of the equipment by consulting its instruction manual (taking into

account that they are guide values) and follow the instructions in said manual regarding the adoption of preventive

measures, use of hearing protectors, etc.
Identify the location of the emergency stop device.
During the use of this work equipment:

Only operate the machine from the actuation devices provided for it and located in the control cabin.
Do not carry out any adjustment, cleaning and/or maintenance operations with the equipment running.
Do not manipulate any part of the equipment or installation that may be live or that is
marked with an electrical risk.
Take extreme precautions in the event of unlocking operations of the shear press. This class of operations requires that

they always be carried out by previously applying an installation consignment procedure.
If during work it is necessary to leave the cabin, stop the equipment first by pressing the emergency stop.
Avoid forced and continuous postures, alternating tasks, and interspersing the necessary breaks.
In the event of a fault or breakdown, correctly signal the equipment, press the emergency stop command and open the

machine's power supply cut-off switch. Issue the corresponding
notice to the person responsible for the revision or repair and correctly signal the equipment.
