Solve Poverty in India through these Super 7 Actions

68.8% of Indians live in poverty, which is more than two-thirds of India's population. 30% of India's people live on less than $1.25 wages per day, and these people are considered extremely poor. Poverty in India is exacerbated due to the global pandemic effect. The major causes of poverty are inadequate access to nutritious food, clean water, livelihood, jobs, income inequality, poor education, lack of infrastructure, and no funds for future development with the society or government.

Stop Poverty with the below mentioned Actions

#1. Create Awareness: Increase the consciousness of poverty in India by creating related posts and poverty-stricken pain and their struggles through social media platforms. This will increase the awareness of poverty in public.

#2. Take Action from Your Side: Help poor children to get an education, or sponsor a low-income family suffering from hunger, buy needful medicines for the poor in a week, etc. Raising some money to donate to a non-profit is also a better idea.

#3. Donate: Donation is not only made through money. You can donate books, buy groceries, give a new dress to a low-income family for a week, donate used furniture, etc., to improve poor people's well-being.

#4. Reduce Gender Inequality: India's females got higher illiteracy rates than males. This ratio should be equal in primary, secondary, and graduation institutes. Stop child marriages, and this will eventually reduce poverty in the long run.

#5. Create Jobs: 122 million jobs are lost during the peak times of coronavirus in April 2020. Which severely affected the whole nation. Creating jobs decreases poverty, and there is a dire need to train the non-literates for a few skills to get a decent job.

#6. Increase access to clean water & healthy food: Millions of Indians have malnutrition. Providing safe water and adequate nutrition is a must for everyone. Many diseases will spread due to the lack of clean water, such as cholera and diarrhea, which takes away millions of children's lives each year.

#7. Educate the Underprivileged: Education increases the earning ability of every person in the family. The basic reading and writing skills help to reduce poverty to a great extent.

The underlying roots of poverty are multiple as it exists everywhere in the globe. There is no single solution to remove poverty, but these seven actions help eradicate poverty in a wide scope.

We must address poverty in India, or else the adverse effects of poverty may impact the nation's growth and individuals on healthcare, safety, security, education, and employment opportunities. ISFH Foundation combats poverty to empower India and its people. This non-profit organization's dream is to satisfy the living needs of people under the poverty line.
