Then fix your Google assistant problem quickly in 3 simple steps!!

Today, everything right from home to office can be managed easily with Google assistant just by saying “ok Google do my work”. But if in case your ok Google isn’t working properly, then here are some simple troubleshooting steps:

1. Turn on the ok Google feature

Sometimes ok Google won’t work as it might have been toggled off. So, to check whether your ok Google feature is turned on or not, open the Google app > More > settings > voice match/Google assistant and now toggle on the Ok Google button. If required, you can also re-train your assistant to identify your voice by saying ok Google three times when prompted. If the ok Google feature is already enabled, then you might need to follow the next step.

2. Update the Google assistant app

If your auto-update app settings are disabled, then an older version of Google assistant or Google app might be the reason for ok Google not working problem. Hence to check whether your auto update app is enabled or not, go to play store, tap on your profile icon> settings> General > auto update app. Now, enable your auto update apps by selecting a network type. Once your auto update app feature is enabled, all your apps will be updated automatically.

3. Inspect your language settings

It might be possible that your assistant is not able to recognize the language you are speaking hence go to Google app > More > settings > Google assistant/Voice > Languages. Here, you can either change or add your preferred language and see if your ok Google works or not.
