Because of the attractiveness of the three puzzles I received, I had to open this one first. One potential disadvantage was that all of the sea water would slow down the puzzle-solving process. When I arrived to the ocean, I thought I'd be angry with myself for choosing beauty over convenience. Fortunately, this never happened because the water had enough items and wavelets to allow for fast completion. I was able to complete this in under 24 hours.
If anyone wants some pointers on how to finish puzzles quickly, I've found that sorting jigsaw pieces onto cardboard helps nicely. I'll organize the pieces into edges, sky, green, ochre, sea, and sail as I turn them over. When a cardboard sheet is completely filled, I simply begin a new one. I had three or four cardboard sheets for the sea. Halfway through the jigsaw, I divided the sea pieces into four categories: all sea, largely sea, half sea, and barely sea. I can stack those pieces of cardboard and keep them out of the way if I'm not working at sea. If I'm working on the sky, I'll put that piece of cardboard in front of me so I don't have to look for it. If I'm having trouble with a certain location, I sort the pieces by shape so that I don't have to search through all of them to find the proper one. If a missing component has three sides that protrude and one side that is unknown, all I have to do is check through all of the pieces that have three or four protruding sides. Have a good time
I've completed other Jigsawdepot problems in the past, but this was the first time I encountered missing parts on a brand new puzzle.
One isn't too awful, but as you can see, this one had three missing pieces, two of which were in areas where I knew I hadn't inserted one that 'nearly' fit in another.
I've contacted the company, and they've promised to send a replacement puzzle pieces; However, because of the Covid-19 problem, it may take some time.But, oh well.
Even with the flaw, I had fun putting this one together.
Colors are vibrant, and color variation is more visible than in other puzzles I've completed.
When the 'price' and 'content' are right, I'll keep buying again.
