Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (or SEO) is the process of improving a website so that it is more visible to search engines such as Google.  The better a webpage's visibility is to these search engines, the more often the page is shown to users when they search for keywords relating to that page.  Search engines list pages based on how well that page can give the searcher the exact thing that they are searching for.  By using an effective SEO strategy a page can start to move up search rankings which greatly increases page traffic and customer conversion.

Email Marketing

Another way to reach customers is through email marketing.  Most businesses have a customer list from previous sales, or have a signup form on their website for customers to give their information when they want to know about a business.  This list can be greatly utilized through sending updates to customers every so often in the form of emails.  With email marketing it is extremely important not to send too many emails or the rate of opening will greatly decline, no one enjoys a lot of junk mail in their inbox.  Designing effective, short and to the point emails that only get sent with important updates will greatly increase response percentage.
