Martin Johnson calls on “very inspiring “England to excite before of 2023 Rugby World Cup

After 20 years leading England to their only Rugby World Cup peak, Martin Johnson hopes to see a "very exciting" England team through this year's Six Nations frightening for France in 2023. Rugby Fans can buy Rugby World Cup 2023 Tickets from our website.

England's experience of winning the Rugby World Cup is limited to their victory in 2003, and Martin Johnson has a unique perspective on the subject after leading his country to the championship.

Red Rose was in second place in 2019, after South Africa, equaling France's second record (3). People have high hopes that when the World Cup comes to France in 2023, the country can end the World Cup curse.

Preparations for this match will begin soon. Head Coach Eddie Jones chose the closest 45-man training team to the Fall International Games, which gave him many surprises.

Senior members such as Billy Vunipola, Elliott Daly, and George Ford were absent from the mini-training camp, but Johnson was convinced England had good standing and potential.

"I think they are in an interesting place. They are young enough to get there in two years and still have a very experienced team," Johnson told Sky Sports News.

"While others are trying to stay there and say 'no, no', more likely to try and win the World Cup'."

Jones had a total of eight uncapped players in the most recent training lineup, including potential players such as Harlequins winger Louis Lynagh, Sale Sharks half-winger Rafi Quirk, and Northampton starlet Ollie Sleightholme.

To some extent, England will still feel the scars left by the embarrassing Six Nations game in 2021. They have won just two out of five games and are in fifth place.

This was the country's worst match result since 1987, when Italy, which often beat boys, still failed to compete.

Leicester Tigers legend Johnson stressed the need to define tomorrow's talents but stressed that if the coach pays too much attention to future success, the team could lose its shine.

For example, inexperienced Harlequin Dynamo Marcus Smith was included at the cost of Tigers talisman and 77 blocked shots to veteran George Ford, who still believes his best years are yet to come.

"You have to keep winning, you can't expense too many results for the future. Or in the case of England to win again!"

Jones' team will take on Tonga, Australia, and South Africa in November, especially the last two games will remind the Red Roses of their position in the international hierarchy.

Although there are still two years away from the next Rugby World Cup, Johnson said it is time for the players to impress so that the coach has no doubt that they should be selected.

England may have finished second to Japan, but only recently has the country ushered in its sixth anniversary since its worst performance in history at the local World Cup in 2015.

Great progress has been made since then under Jones' leadership. With the emergence of new talents on the international scene, it is hoped that this team can finally put an end to England's wait for the Webb Ellis Cup.
