He is currently signed to fight for the World Boxing Association, however there has been a lot of hype surrounding him signing with WBA middleweight champion Christian "Cigano" Cerrone in March. Anthony "Tony" Ferguson was a contestant on the popular reality show The Real World: Las Vegas. He is a British citizen who has fought professionally since 2021.

He has fought in many different organizations, including kickingboxing promotions TKO, K-1, BELLATOR, and WECF. He is also a member of the British independent promotions Raging Block, where he competes against pro wrestlers and kickboxers.

His most recent fight was against ArtursVlastman in November of 2021 in London, England. In that fight he received a technical knockout, however a few seconds later Vlastman was able to reverse him onto his back in the center of the ring and take full control of the match. This is not the first time that ArtursVlastman has successfully applied the double leg outside in a submission hold though.

In addition, he improved his record to 3-1 against fellow British opponents. He also defeated Joe Askas via submission.
After his win over James Thompson in the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England, it will be interesting to see what kind of opponent he will be faced against in the next fight. Joe Askas was recently scheduled to fight Luiz in a light heavyweight title fight at UFC 21, but recently pulled out of that fight with a back injury. This means that we could very well see a light heavyweight title fight on the horizon between Askas and anthony fowler.
