The Mechanism of Automatic Wire and Cable Winding Machines

The conventional winding machines used for wires and cables manufacturing mainly contain a clamping mechanism that includes a coil, a wire mold, and an electric motor. The working principle of the system is that the motor drives the wire mold to rotate, and as a result, the copper wire is wound around the wire mold achieving the required coil. This process is not only a time killer but also a costly one. The payoff machines manufactured by the top driven payoff machine suppliers have resolved this problem to a large extent.

Automatic wire winding machine: overview

On the other hand, the fully automatic wire winding machine-made and supplied by the leading flyer payoff machine manufacturer in India automates the entire process. It has 6 parts that include:

  1. Control system
  2. Winding mechanism
  3. Cable arranging mechanism
  4. Speed regulating mechanism
  5. A guiding mechanism, and
  6. Pay-off mechanism.

Winding mechanism

The winding motor is utilized as the source of power for the entire framework, and the driving line mode understands the rotating movement of the wire shape when winding. The instrument is made out of a DC servo motor, motor section, coupling section, and wire mold. The coupling is associated with the wire form, and the coupling section is mounted on the edge to eliminate the impact of the cantilever beam and guarantees the neutrality of the motor yield shaft.

The wire form utilizes a bolt-on bracing plate as a clip to wind the loop. To keep the curl from turning without strain during the payoff, a rotational damper is introduced on the payoff system to change the pressure of the wire on the lacquered copper wire during the payoff. All this happens very smoothly on a driven payoff machine manufactured and provided by the top driven payoff machine suppliers in India.

Cable arrangement mechanism:

The cable arrangement mechanism in an automatic wire winding system equipped with a flyer payoff machine, made and supplied by a leading flyer payoff machine manufacturer is composed of the following:

●       A slider

●       A connecting rod

●       An internal rail

●       A motor base, and

●       A stepping motor.

The stepping motor in the system makes rotation at a constant speed, and the crank slider makes the necessary movement for performing the periodic motion. With the change in the connecting rod and the stroke of the slider, the enameled copper wire travels to the long hole present in the slider, and the sliding friction is converted into rolling friction to obtain a stable and uniform mechanism in the entire line.
