THESE ARE THE 10 BEST ART WORK TIPS FOR CUSTOM PRINTED STAND UP POUCHES

The packaging industry has been transformed by custom stand up pouches. They're popular with product makers since they can stand on a shelf or hang on a peg in a display, giving them a variety of marketing options. Because stand up pouches are usually made of plastic or plastic/aluminum laminates, they can be printed with any number of colors, designs, or logos. This allows them to stand out even more in a retail setting.

All of this is to indicate that the term "custom pouches" in the phrase "custom printed" can be confusing to customers, marketers, and even packaging experts. Nothing is more frustrating than receiving a finished product that does not meet your expectations. If you aren't a graphic designer, use the criteria below to make sure the personalized stand up pouches you order are exactly what you desire.

There are two types of printing techniques for stand-up pouches.

The first is rotogravure printing, which is similar to a traditional rotary printing press in that it involves engraving the image to be printed onto a copper cylinder before pressing it onto the item. On the press, each color, which is usually a mix of CMYK colors, gets its own printing unit (cyan, magenta, yellow and key, which is printing terminology for black).

The second printing method is flexographic printing, which involves feeding the stand-up pouch from a roll into a printing machine. The document is subsequently sent through a sequence of print units, each of which prints a different CMYK color.

Make careful to include numerous copies of your artwork when creating personalized stand up pouches.

A decent rule of thumb is to keep two physical color copies, one hard black-and-white copy, and one digital copy on a compact disc. Many organizations will accept graphical files by email, although a CD is normally recommended due to their large size. If your artwork is under 60MB, most e-mail services should be able to handle it.

Include a copy of your authentic color standards

(PMS numbers or color samples) with copies of your artwork to ensure that the colors of your artwork are precisely matched.

Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop should be used to create the artwork for your stand-up bag.

Although Adobe is the industry standard, Macromedia Freehand or CorelDraw are also accepted by most providers. Most printers prefer three versions of your artwork on a CD: two EPS copies (one converted to outline, the other unconverted) and one PDF version.

Draw outlines around all of the text in your printed stand up pouch design.

Outlines turn text into little graphic designs, preventing your typefaces from being warped during translation. As a precaution, make sure the printer has the fonts you chose in your artwork. If they need to make changes, you'll want the typefaces to match your design.

Any photographs you use must have a resolution of at least 350 pixels per inch (dpi).

and distortion, which can be detrimental to your professional image.

Our printer should also have copies of the individual photographs you used in your design.

Put these on the CD you're sending in.

A stand-up bag's picture layers should never be flattened.

In case the printer needs to update or revise one of the layers of an image or design, keep them separate. Your printer should receive all of the photos you used in their original layered format.

Remember to provide your supplier with the UPC number.

The majority of vendors can convert these numbers into a bar code that you may print on your artwork.

Your provider should provide you with a "print proof" of your stand up pouch artwork.

To sign off on, please include all of the PMS colors and information you've provided for your printed stand up pouches.

Finally, few packaging solutions can compete with printed bespoke stand up pouches when the artwork and film structure are appropriately combined. Customers will remember your goods, and businesses will gladly exhibit them. This checklist will help you communicate with your supplier and make your stand-up pouch packaging stand out on store shelves.
