·        Salt                                        1 pinch

·        Curd                                     125 gm hung

·        Green Chilli                        2 small

·        Ginger Paste                     1/4 teaspoon

·        Black Cardamom             1/2 teaspoon powdered

·        Coriander Leaves            1/2 bunch chopped


How to make Special Dahi Chicken?


Soak the chicken chunks for 15 minutes in lukewarm water with a pinch of salt. The chicken should then be washed, cleaned, and cut into approximately equivalent cubes.

In a large bowl, add the paste of two small green chilies. Then add the hung curd and marinate the chicken with the ginger-garlic paste, cardamom powder, and salt. When the chicken pieces have been fully coated, set them aside for 2 hours to allow the flavors to penetrate the chicken, curd has such a creamy texture that you can cook it with very little oil, making it a healthy meal.

Then, in a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. You can also use low-fat butter to make it healthier. When the butter begins to melt, add the onions and cook until they are light pinkish.

When the onions are tender and transparent, add the marinated chicken and cook for 2 minutes. Now, cover the pan and leave to simmer for 15 minutes. You can add fresh cream to this dish to make it rich and creamy. It tastes even better when you add finely chopped coriander leaves and chopped chilies.
