Detail Walkaround On Crystex hs ot 20

Crystex HS OT 20 is a non blooming vulcanizing agents for unsaturated elastomers.

MAJOR APPLICATIONS AND PROPERTIES

  • Crystex(tm), HS OT 20, is polymeric sulfur that is insoluble within elastomers. It will therefore reduce bin scorch, prevent sulfur migration, and maintain surface tack. This is crucial in the production of tires and other plied-up rubber goods.
  • Crystex(TM), HSOT 20, will react similarly to "Rubber Maker's sulfur at vulcanization temperatures.
  • crystex hs ot 20 is a metastable product that can revert back to soluble sulfur if it's not stored in the right conditions.
  • Alkaline products can also catalyze the conversion of Crystex(tm), HS OT 20, to soluble sulfur. It is possible for alkaline accelerators to be crucial.
  • Crystex(TM), HS OT 20, is a special grade that has high thermal stability.
  • Crystex(TM), HS OT 20 can be used for compounds with a high sulfur content above the solubility in the elastomer.
  • Crystex(tm), HS OT 20, is non-staining, and non-discoloring.

Crystex(TM), HS OT 20 is a non-blooming vulcanizing agents for unsaturated elastomers. MAJOR APPLICATIONS & PROPERTY Crystex(TM), HS OT 20 is a polymeric sulfur that is not soluble with elastomers. It prevents the migration of sulfur and slows down bin scorch.

You might find it amusing, but not all the defects in rubber are considered bad. Rubber blooming (white milky powdered film on the surface of rubber) is one such defect in rubber that people often consider bad. But in reality, it is supposed to be there.
