For external applications, only ACP that is 4mm thick and has 0.5mm thick top and bottom coils is advised. It is not advisable to use 3mm thick ACP with 0.25mm coil for structures taller than 10 meters. 0.25 mm coil is produced using the AA1100 alloy. Alloy coils built of AA3105/3004/5005 can be as large as 0.3mm. The average minimum tensile strength and elastic modulus are consequently employed in design.
Also being the first to have Double Coat Double Bake Line, we produce the best-in class ACP Sheets that not only aesthetically brilliant but also long-lasting. A coating like PVDF coating is considered to be ideal for external surfaces and Aludecor encourages the use of PVDF to ensure longevity of ACP Sheets.
