How to do series parallel connection of lithium batteries?

Series and parallel connection are two combinations of lithium battery packs.

The series connection means that the negative pole of the first section of lithium battery is connected to the positive pole of the second section of lithium battery, the negative pole of the second section of lithium battery is connected to the positive pole of the third section, and so on, until the required voltage is reached. The voltage of this connection mode is the sum of the voltages of the battery cells connected together, and the capacity is the capacity of a single section, which is output after the installation of the protective plate.

For example, 12V 100Ah requires 3pcs 100Ah cells in series, and 24V 100Ah requires 7pcs 100Ah cells in series.

Parallel connection means that the positive pole of the first section of lithium battery is connected to the positive pole of the second section, and the negative pole is connected to the negative pole, and so on, to reach the required capacity. The voltage under this comprehensive mode is constant, it is the voltage of a single section, and the capacity is the total capacity of all batteries.

For example, 2pcs 100Ah cells are required for 3.2V 200Ah in parallel, and 3pcs 100Ah cells are required for 3.2V 300Ah in parallel.

The lithium battery pack combination requires these two combination methods to achieve the required voltage and capacity. Batteries are generally connected through nickel sheets. An electric welding machine is required to weld the nickel sheets and the electric cells. This method is relatively secure and safe. Then connect the corresponding (BMS) protection board for output.
