Marrakesh is about 327 kilometers west of Rabat, Morocco's capital, 580 kilometers south of Tangier, and 196 kilometers south of Casablanca. Before being turned into a museum for the city in 1997, it was originally a palace built at the end of the 19th century.


Contemporary portraits, ancient coins, historical books, traditional Moroccan pottery, and a plethora of other fascinating exhibits are among the many highlights of the museum in Marrakesh. A lot of tourists who come to Morocco tour want to visit the country's museums from time to time.


The Almoravid Dome The Almoravid is credited with founding the city of Marrakesh and constructing numerous notable Islamic structures there. The Almoravid Dome is actually the city's most ancient historical site today. The structure, which Sultan Yusuf built at the beginning of the 12th century AD, actually served as an ablution area for worshipers who were going to pray in the Yusuf Mosque.


The Dome is at the top of a large, open Sahn courtyard with 19 private ablution areas. The dome has a rectangle-shaped dome that is 12 meters long and 7 meters wide and has a height of 12 meters. Travelers who spend their vacations in Morocco should take a look at the dome, which is one of the most impressive Almoravid structures.


The Majorelle Gardens Tourists of all ages find the Majorelle Gardens to be one of the most entertaining locations in Morocco. Established in 1924 by famous French artists Jack Majorelle, the garden's buildings were boldly painted a distinctive blue shade in 1937, shocking the inhabitants of the red city at the time.
