The state has also implemented a 33 percent reservation for women in these colleges, which has provided more educational opportunities to women in the state. There are 14 universities in the state, out of which seven are deemed universities, and two are central universities. This has provided students with a wide range of educational options, and they can choose from a variety of courses that these universities are offering.
