Exploring "Theatre" by Tsiskvili Group: Where Dining Meets Performance

Imagine a grand theater with a luxurious red curtain, where you can not only enjoy a captivating performance but also savor a delectable dinner simultaneously. Such a unique space has made its debut in Georgia, specifically in Tbilisi, and it goes by the name "Theatre."

The concept of "Theatre" was born from the visionary minds at the "Tsiskvili Group." After two years of dedicated work, this groundbreaking idea became a splendid reality.

So, what sets "Theatre" apart, and what kind of experience can you expect in this remarkable space? In this article, we'll delve into the extraordinary concept behind the Tsiskvili Group's "Theatre."

Dining Theatre: Where Culture Meets Cuisine

"We can confidently say that the term 'Dining Theatre' is making its debut in Georgia and the entire Transcaucasian region," proudly states Zaal Chikobava, Artistic Director of "Theatre."

Indeed, "Theatre" introduces a novel concept to Georgia – the "Dining Theatre", a well-known concept in the West. Unlike traditional theaters or conventional dining halls, this expansive venue on Beliashvili Street is a place where you can immerse yourself in a cultural performance while indulging in exquisite cuisine.

Stage and Pavilion: A Canvas for Creativity

At the heart of "Theatre" lies its magnificent stage, which not only serves as the focal point of the building's design and architecture but also shapes its entire concept.

"We created a classic-style stage with a grand curtain and rich colors, around which we designed the pavilion. The stage remains a constant centerpiece, while the surrounding space can adapt to different events and themes. This means that you might find the hall completely transformed each time you visit, adding an element of surprise and versatility," explains Mamuka Chkhaidze, Founder of the Tsiskvili Group and Chief Architect of "Theatre."

This flexibility allows "Theatre" to host a wide range of events, from theatrical shows, ballet, and opera performances to concerts, gala dinners, presentations, conferences, festivals, corporate gatherings, weddings, and birthdays. It's a canvas for creativity, a place where new ideas and experiments come to life.

"Theatre" is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities, making it capable of accommodating even the most ambitious and large-scale events.

Culinary Art as Performance

In "Theatre," gastronomy takes center stage alongside live performances. Alex Natadze, Brand Chef of the Tsiskvili Group and "Theatre," emphasizes that dishes will be an integral part of the show. In addition to a set menu, special menus tailored to the style and genre of each event will be presented.

While the Tsiskvili restaurants primarily offer traditional Georgian cuisine, "Theatre" will feature a slightly different culinary approach. Expect innovative interpretations and high-quality dishes that align with the unique atmosphere of "Theatre."

"Theatre" is already welcoming guests and event bookings, with its official opening scheduled for November 25.

"The Show" – as its first performance is boldly named – will feature prominent figures such as Nikoloz Rachveli, Nino Ananiashvili, and their ballet troupe, along with exceptional opera singers. While we can't reveal all the details just yet, we're certain it will be an unforgettable evening," assures Zaal Chikobava.

Lasha Chkhaidze, Executive Director of the Tsiskvili Group, envisions "Theatre" as a game-changer in both the artistic and restaurant realms. "We believe that 'Theatre' will give rise to a new genre. Soon, this space will become your favorite destination for cultural experiences, delectable dining, and bohemian entertainment," concludes Lasha Chkhaidze.
